The Songs Of Countdown is a musical adventure down memory lane.  From the early days of Disco to the New Wave sound of the 80’s, George Kapiniaris (Acropolis Now, Wogs Out Of Work) and Tottie Goldsmith ( The Chantoozies) recount their involvement and memories from the iconic Australian Television show.

 

Combining all the classic hits from the show with laugh out loud observations and takes on the era, George and Tottie are backed by a 5 piece band that include members from Australia’s most recognised bands. The show chronologically glides through the years, hits from the likes of The Skyhooks, Village People and ABBA into the later years of Culture Club, Wham and Kylie Minogue.
